Unfunded Job Seeker Scholarship
Each year, Desert Survivors meets job seekers with disabilities who are eager to work but do not qualify for the funding that supports employment services. These individuals have the motivation and ability to contribute; they simply need the support to get started. Your organization can help open that door through an unfunded job seeker scholarship.
This scholarship funds one full year of supported employment for an unfunded participant, covering the staff support and program supplies needed to help one person succeed on the job while earning at least minimum wage. More than sponsorship, it creates a path to dignity, confidence, independence, and belonging.
