Farewell with Thanks

To all our customers, loyal, new and on-going, I want to Shout Out to you all for making our spring plant sale one of the best ever! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank you on behalf of all the individuals we serve here at Desert Survivors. I understand that for most of the people that shop here it is all about our beautiful native plants, but you all know that Desert Survivors is so much more than the plants we grow. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to serve 45 adults that have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Everyone gets minimum wage or above for their time working. This year is bringing lots of change to help these folks move forward in their career paths which means we will be helping more individuals as they come through our gates. There will always be those that stay, some short term some long term,but our goal is to make sure Desert Survivors is a place they all remember with a smile and happy memories. It will always be the place that made me smile the most and I will always have a sense of pride in what I have accomplished in my time with this amazing company. I cannot wait to see where Hannah takes Desert Survivors during her tenor as Executive Director.
