Thank You Rose

Rose Lawe Forbes passed away recently and left Desert Survivors a generous gift. While we did not know her personally, what we have learned about her during this time has made us wish we had. Like many of us, Rose experienced considerable personal loss and some significant struggles. Yet her belief in the ability to make a positive impact on those around us and the causes we care about never wavered. Her resilience is inspiring. This commitment to the power of philanthropy is particularly restoring amid our current chaotic funding landscape.

The undaunted faith in an unknown, but assuredly positive future renews our own hope. The generosity of this one person has a ripple effect that will grow exponentially even after she is gone, and that knowledge is heartening. For these many reasons, we ask that you join us in saying thank you to Rose.
